一、重新审视大纲要求

要求考生阅读若干篇短文。每篇短文后有若干个问题。考生应根据文章内容得出最佳答案。

选材原册

1、题材广泛，可以包括人物传记、社会、文化等方面，但是所涉及的背景知识应能为学生所理解;

2、体裁多样，可以包括说明文、议论文等;

评析：

“四六级还剩一个月，我该干什么？”这是最近听到最多的问题，我们在复习总规划方面给出两点建议。

很多同学已经不是第一次参加四六级考试了，甚至于有不少已经是大四的学生，但四级还没过，考了很多次，成绩都只是在360左右，很郁闷，很难受。现在距离四六级考试也就一个月的时间了，这些学生告诉我，他们现在很担心，很担心毕业前连四级都过不了，到那时别说考研了，连找工作都成为很难的事情。听到这么多学生的忧虑，我在替学生担心以外，不禁要问一下这些学生：“为什么不早点着手复习呢？”

离12月18日大学英语四级考试不足百日，不少考生已开始备考。老师提醒考生，备考四级要有针对性和时间性，选材料和订计划要双管齐下。

不少考生都有多年英 语学习经验，而且大学也开设大学英语课程。不少人可能会认为，不就是英语考试嘛，资料随处可见，信手拈来即可。正是这种观念导致“裸考”人数(指不经过复习或培训即上考场的考生)逐年递增，但是四六级通过率却不见同步增长。四级考试是一项大学英语水平测试，有考试大纲，有需要考生掌握的单词量，具备成熟的考试形式和考题规则。所以，考生选取备考资料要有针对性。首先，词汇书对基础薄弱的考生大有裨益。四级考试对词汇量有一定要求，考生是否掌握了要求掌握的单词，对考试成绩是有影响的。英语词汇量很大，如果漫无目的背单词，不仅效果较差，而且没有针对性，对备考没有太大帮助。除单词书外，考生还需准备一些往年试题，可以通过做题检验复习效果。考生要注意的是，试题最好选择2006年6月至2010年6月的大学英语四级试题。2006年以前的试题年代不但太过久远，而且全部属于考试改革前的试题。近期的试题在难度、信度以及题目形式上，对考生帮助更大。

资料备齐后，考生最好制订复习时间表。由于正值学期中，考生除要备考四级外，还需应对其他科目学习，学业较重，如果没有备考时间表，很容易顾此失彼。四级备考也是一个系统复习的过程，不是一朝一夕的事情。建议考生按以下顺序复习：背单词——做往年试题——突破单项(如听力和阅读)——总结错题——模拟考试。

有的考生在以往的复习过程中，没有利用好时间，抓大放小，复习内容太粗放，很多精细的内容都忽略了，因而没能取得好的成绩。制订复习时间表，其实也是一种无形的督促。考生制订时间表时，切不可只顾往前复习，不顾回头归纳总结。在做练习过程中，对一些没听懂的词、阅读题中经常出现的高频生词、经常出现失误的语法，考生要注意归纳整理，着重记忆理解，以防错误再次出现。在制订时间表时，考生要注意安排这些知识的复习时间。

备考四级小窍门

历年试题演练：不要盲目追求速度，而要提高试题的利用率，通过做题发现不足并改正，确定可以做对所有题，并明确做对的为什么正确，做错的为什么错误。最后，要对题目中的每一句英文都能正确理解其含义并可以翻译成通顺的中文。基础薄弱的考生，每套试题最好做两遍以上，并在错题和难题位置做出标记，记录心得。

单词记忆：不是死记硬背而是通过大量阅读记单词，比如朗读单词，读时要注意它们的词性，记住最常用、最普遍的意思。运用词根词缀记单词，效率更高。另外，背单词时，如果能够配合听力材料，会有更好的效果。

听力练习：做过的听力题，可以有效利用其对应的原文。重新播放，同时跟读和模仿，这样会加深题目印象，同时改善发音和语调。跟读有困难时，可以半句为单位甚至每个单词为单位进行训练。边听边写能够锻炼听写能力，可选择性地将部分短对话或长对话，包括短文听力，用单句反复播放的形式写出来。(记者：刘海燕)
