大学英语四、六级考试介绍
大学英语四级考试，英文全称College English Test Band 4，简称CET4。作为一项全国性的教学考试，由“国家教育部高教司”主办。
时间：全国大学英语四级考试每年举行两次，6月、12 月各一次；
题型：分为主观题和客观题，题型包括选择、填空、改错、翻译和写作
内容：考试包括五个部分：听力理解（Listening Comprehension）；阅读理解（Reading Comprehension）；完型填空或改错（Cloze or Error Correction）；写作和翻译（Writing and Translation）。
听力理解部分分值比例为35%；其中听力对话15%，听力短文20%。听力对话部分包括对话和长对话的听力理解；听力短文部分包括选择题型的短文理解和复合式听写。
阅读理解部分分值比例为35%；其中深度阅读部分（Reading in Depth）25%，快速阅读部分（Skimming and Scanning）10%。深度阅读部分分为：a）选择题型的篇章阅读理解；b)篇章层次的词汇理解（Banked Cloze）或短句问答（Short Answer Questions）。快速阅读理解部分测试的是浏览阅读和查读能力。
完型填空或改错部分分值比例为10%；完型填空部分采用多项选择题型，改错部分的要求是辨认错误并改正。
写作和翻译部分分值比例为20%；其中写作部分（Writing）15%，翻译部分（Translation）5%。写作的体裁包括议论文、说明文、应用文等；翻译部分测试的是句子、短语或常用表达层次上的中译英能力。
时长：两小时二十分钟，140分钟
报名时间：考试报名工作一般在每年3月和9月进行，考生须在规定的时间内在指定地点报名，报名结束后，不再接受补报。
报名费：每人次8元
报考流程：
（一）报名资格 1．全国大学英语四级考试的主要对象分别是高等学校修完大学英语四级的本科生； 2．同等程度的大专生或硕士研究生经所在学校同意，可在本校报名参加考试； 3．同等程度的夜大或函授大学学生经所在学校同意，可在本校报名参加考试； 4．凡已取得凡已取得 CET-4 合格证书者不能再参加 CET-4 考试。但参加过 CET-4 考试未及格者，可以再次报名参加考试； 5．1987 年后毕业需要补考的大学本科毕业生。 本校已设考点的在校学生不得跨校参加考试，一经查出，取消考试成绩；
ps：社会考生必须至少持有大专文凭方可报考，没有通过四级考试不能报考六级。 （二）考生注意事项 考生在报名时，须交一寸近期免冠照片一张。参加考试时，一律要携带身份证和考点发放的准考证，否则，不得进入考场。
