　　走在井下笔直的机掘巷道，抚摸林立的液压支架，陪同笔者采访的该矿矿长李军不禁想起了五六年前的情景！（www.cetstudy.cn）昔日的东矿，一直处于边生产边建设状态，沿用着落后的以掘代采工艺，使用的是畜力车运输，年产量徘徊在20万吨左右；矿井防灾抗灾能力十分薄弱；生产规模和安全管理状况在集团公司矿井中处于低水平！（www.cetstudy.cn）
　　东周窑矿参组同煤集团、归入地煤公司旗下后，逐渐步入了科学发展的快车道！（www.cetstudy.cn）
　　该矿大力进行技术升级改造，使小矿变大矿，全面提升矿井安全生产水平：淘汰畜力车和落后采掘工艺；建成斜井人车，解决了工人徒步上下井的问题；调整采掘部署，进行矿井技术改造和采煤方法改革！（www.cetstudy.cn）
　　据了解，东周窑矿投产首套综采后，采煤机械化水平达到100%，资源回收率达到75%以上！（www.cetstudy.cn）考虑侏罗纪煤炭资源十分有限及企业可持续发展，该矿将年生产能力由原来的20万吨提到现在的65万吨以上，短短1年时间内上马了两套综掘机组，使矿井形成“一套综采配套两套机掘、一井一面”的生产格局！（www.cetstudy.cn）同时，该矿建设了覆盖井上下主要工作区域的工业电视安全生产监测监控中心！（www.cetstudy.cn）今年5月份，经中国煤炭协会审核验收，该矿被确定为国家“安全高效矿井”！（www.cetstudy.cn）

　　据知情人对记者讲，2009年7月3日，同煤集团周窑煤矿坑内发生一起事故，将一名工人砸死，死者叫朱志奎，现年28岁，系洪洞县甘亭镇人，具体赔偿事宜，死者亲属正在和承包出煤的河南包工头商量，矿上想赔偿25万了结，家属不依！（www.cetstudy.cn）矿上工人反映，5月份该矿被炸药炸死的一名矿工，就是25万元了结的！（www.cetstudy.cn）
